First met Mr. Mahoney in 1977 my first year I played for the Springfield Olympics in the New England Junior Hockey League. I remember him telling us stories about speed skating, and coming to the Olympia to demonstrate his skills as a speed skater. He was always a gentleman. Sorry for your loss.
