Patty-Jo Sullivan

Patricia Joan "Patty-Jo" Sullivan, 57, a resident of Littleton for the past 20 years and formerly of Concord, died Wed. Sept. 26, 2012 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Born and raised in Concord, she was the daughter of Marilyn P. (Fitzpatrick) Sullivan of Concord and the late William T. Sullivan, and was the sister of the late Peter Sullivan. Patty-Jo was a graduate of Concord-Carlisle Regional High School and the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. She loved children and especially spending time with her many nieces and nephews. A nanny for many years, she enjoyed her time with the Takvorian family of Concord and she loved the children, Sam, Kate and Sarah as if they were her own. In later years she owned and operated her own catering business, P.J.'s Catering of Littleton. She also enjoyed warm winters in Englewood, Florida with her husband, John Barbadoro, and the couple enjoyed the company of their Cockapoo, "Maggie." Patty-Jo's was generous, putting the concerns of others ahead of herself. Her kind heart and sweet nature will be greatly missed. In addition, the family and friends of Patty-Jo are forever grateful for the outstanding care she received at 3C ICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital. "The selfless dedication of the ICU team and nursing staff has transformed us all." In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by four sisters, Maryanne Sullivan of Acton, Eileen Sullivan of NYC, Beth Symko and husband Greg of Concord, and Sarah O'Neill and husband Tom of Acton; a brother Gregory Sullivan and his wife Sarah of East Douglas; and a large extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Mass on Tues. October 2nd at 10:00am in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington Street, Acton. Burial in Milford will be private.
