Shirley Hart

Shirley Janet (Faulkner) Hart, 83, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2011, at Sugarmill Manor Assisted Living in Homosassa, Florida. Born in Newton, MA. on August 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Davis) Faulkner both from Nova Scotia. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward I. Hart Jr. for 56 years until his death in 2003. Shirley spent her childhood in Watertown, MA and later in Lexington, MA where she met and married Edward in 1947. Shirley was a loving wife and wonderful mother, they had lived and raised their children in Littleton, MA. for 30 years. Shirley was a Cafeteria Lady at the Shaker Lane School for 25 years. Upon their retirement in 1984 they moved to Crystal River, Fl. She enjoyed crafts, music, dancing, traveling and being with family and friends. She leaves three children, two sons John S. Hart and his wife Janice of Lowell, MA.; Arthur E. Hart and his wife Kathy of Salem, NH.; a daughter Cheryl L. Fitzgerald and her husband Kevin of Concord, MA.; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton, MA., to be held Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 am.
