Douglas Edward Humphrey, 57, of Littleton, died at his residence June 22, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Somer- ville, MA January 23, 1956 son of Edward of Littleton and the late Margaret (Cameron) Humphrey. He spent his early life in Somerville where he attended the schools and was a graduate of Somerville Trade High School. He was a hardworking dedicated husband and father who worked in the HVAC field most of his life. He had previously worked for Dynalectron Corporation as a sheet metal mechanic, which took his family to various states including Maryland, California and Colorado. He also lived on Long Island, NY for seven years and ran his own HVAC business. His family returned to Massachusetts in the early 90s and has resided in Littleton since. He most recently worked in maintenance at Emerson Hospital. He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Vicky, daughters, Jessica Humphrey and Lisa MacPhee, and her husband, Stephan and son, Philip Douglas. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Humphrey Slover, and his nephew, Josh Hum- phrey. He will also be missed sorely by all his in-laws and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. He spent his final months at home enjoying time with his family and especially his new grandson who brought a smile to his face. A visitation took place Tues. July 9, 6-8 P.M at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. (Rte 2A/110 ) Littleton. A Funeral Service was held 11 AM Wed at the Funeral Home, followed by Burial at West lawn Cemetery.
