Lucille C. Kallelis, April 13, 1935 ~ November 7, 2016. Lucille Claire (Poussard) Kallelis, 81, of North Berwick, Maine, passed away at her home in the company of her loving family Monday, November 7, 2016. She was the wife of Spiros Kallelis, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of a wonderful marriage. Born in Salem, MA, Lucille was the daughter of the late Arthur and Geraldine (Turcotte) Poussard. She was a graduate of Saint Joseph Academy, class of 1953, and a graduate of the Comptometer School of Boston. After raising her family, Lucille returned to work at the Fiscal Affairs office, at Salem State University, where she worked for many years until her retirement in 1997. Together with her husband, Lucille enjoyed frequent visits to her New Hampshire home where she spent time snowmobiling, cross country skiing and enjoying the surrounding mountains. Lucille loved people, laughing, and traveling to visit family and friends, especially in Canada and Florida. Her favorite moments were times spent with her friends, family and grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss her. Along with her husband Spiros, Lucille is survived by two sons, Michael Kallelis and his wife Jody of Topsfield, MA, and Dennis Kallelis of Middleton, MA; a daughter, Claire Kallelis and her husband Thatcher Kezer, III of Amesbury, MA; two grandchildren, Jackelyn Kallelis and Thatcher Kezer, IV; and many loving nieces and nephews. Lucille is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Sally Poussard, Leona (Poussard) Ahern, Diane (Poussard) Tremblay, Rita (Poussard) Bisazza, Julie (Poussard) Spence, and Lucien Poussard. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8pm in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt.1A/114) Salem, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home Saturday at 9 am followed by a funeral service in St. Thomas Church, North St. Salem, at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
