Henry "Hank" Pahl Jr.

1935 - 2018

Henry Hank Pahl, Jr., Esq 83, longtime resident of Marblehead, MA passed at home on Sunday February 4th, 2018. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Barbara Bingham of Tacoma and his son Henry D. Pahl, III of Woburn, leaving behind his daughter Jennifer H. Pahl of Acton, his son Geoffrey M. Pahl of Lowell, his daughter-in-law Jean L. Valk, and his granddaughter Caroline H. Pahl of Woburn. Hank was an alumnus of Harvard and Harvard Law School. Upon his graduation he became a prominent patent attorney in the Boston area. His patent work covered a wide range of technologies from speech recognition and industrial demagnetizers to cardiac pacemakers. He was an avid and successful competitor in road rallies and sailing regattas. He spent much of his free time sailing on his boat Hugger and had a great love and respect for the sea. A Memorial Service will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Saturday, February 24 at 2PM. Visitation will begin at 1PM prior to the service.
