Wayne White Obituary
Mr. Wayne J. White, age 56, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Schrater) White. Born in Lynn, Wayne was the son of Evelyn (Mahoney) White and Bernard White, Sr. He was born and raised in Lynn and then moved to Marblehead, where he raised his family and started his own successful business, Whites Carpentry and Painting which he ran for many years. He later moved to Florida where he had been a resident for the past several years. He was a devoted husband, a very loving father and touched the hearts of many that entered his life. He had an infectious laugh, humor that would bring everyone joy and he had unconditional love for his family and friends. He enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things, vacationing to New Hampshire in the White Mountains along with fishing and canoeing. Wayne impacted the many people he came in contact with. He was original, one of a kind with a heart of gold. In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Melinda I. Evans of Marblehead, Lisa E. White of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Joshua A. White of Coral Springs, FL. He was the brother of Linda Umphrey of Lynn, Bernard Bernie White, JR. of Lynn, Karen White of Maine, and Thomas White of Lynn. He was the loving grandfather of Joshua T. White, Rufus Bernie Horne III and Jaedon N. Evans. He also leaves his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harry and Betty Schrater of Swampscott and their extended family. Further survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael White and Michelle Olsen and father in law to the late Enos D. Evans. Waynes Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
