Obituary Condolences

Barbara A. (Crotty) Donnelly, 76, of Kings Grant Road, died peacefully at her home on Friday, August 31, 2012. She was born in Maynard daughter of the late John and Sophie (Wasiuk) Crotty Sr. A registered nurse, she was trained at Mass General Hospital and had worked at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and later at Marlborough Hospital for 38 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and cross-word puzzles. For her small stature she was a powerful force for the people in which she came in contact including her large family. She leaves six children: Dr. John Donnelly and his wife Kimberly of Oakwood, OH, Mary Jane Donnelly of Marlborough, Patricia Donnelly and her friend Tony Bertelli of Chester, VT, Kathleen Laliberte and her husband Andre of Marlborough, Nancy Aho and her husband William of Lunenburg and Robert Donnelly and his wife Michelle of Charlotte, NC: grandchildren: Shannon Ware, Alyse Cotoni, Krista Laliberte, Mallory Donnelly, Calvin Laliberte, Ryan Wilson, Melanie Grocott, Mary Grace Donnelly, Erin Donnelly, James Donnelly, Jackson Donnelly and Griffin Donnelly and great-grandchildren: Kendall Thibodeau, Aiden Ware, Tyler Ware, Gabriella Ware, Toby Cotoni and Angelina Gutierrez. She also leaves two brothers: David Crotty and his wife Patricia of Stroudsburg, PA and Patrick Crotty and his wife Wanda of Bloomfield, CO, Sister-in-law Hannelore Crotty widow of the late John Crotty of Sudbury. She was also predeceased by a brother Edmund Crotty. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6 with a funeral mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bridget's Church, corner of Percival and Sudbury Streets, Maynard.
