Obituary Condolences

Charles E. Keyser, 86 of Marlborough, died at home on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 after an illness. He was the husband of the late Doris P. (LaBrache) Keyser who died in 2012 and father of the late Maureen Keyser who died in 2001. He leaves his sister Martha Brocklehurst and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Harold Keyser, James Keyser, Joseph Keyser, Francis Keyser, Helen Fry and Rose Hassler. He was born in Greenville, PA and was the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Baker) Keyser and has lived most of his life in Marlborough. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the chief operating engineer at the City of Marlborough Westerly Waste Plant and retired in 1990 after 34 years of employment for the city. Graveside services and Military Honors was held at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home, Inc., 57 Main St., Marlboro is in care of the arrangements. There are no calling hours.
