Duane Feeley Obituary

Duane M. Feeley, 89, of Marshfield died January 28, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Edna (Zetterlund) Feeley; loving father of Gayle Feeley and her husband David Fuller of West Barnstable, Allison Feeley and her companion Michael Versace of Marshfield, Todd Feeley and his spouse Steven LaFrance of San Francisco and the late Pamela Feeley McMahon; grandfather of Alyssa Fuller and Eduardo Feeley; brother of Jack Phillips of Oklahoma. Since childhood, Duane was an avid musician, sharing his love of music with his wife of 50 years, Edna (deceased). As a teen and young man he played saxophone and bassoon for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus as well as several jazz bands. Duane served in the Navy, received his B.A. in Organic Chemistry from Rice University on the GI Bill, and completed a year of graduate studies at Harvard University. He worked for seven years at Monsanto in the agricultural chemicals division and then for 35 years at Arthur D. Little where he was Vice President of international business services. After retirement, Duane joined several symphony orchestras and continued world travels with his family. Funeral services for Mr. Feeley will be private.
