Dennis Lombardo

Dennis Lombardo of Maynard, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at Emerson Hospital in Concord at the age of 60. Born on May 7, 1952 in Newton; beloved son of the late Frank and Delta (Amcangioli) Lombardo, Dennis was raised and lived for many years in Newton before moving to Maynard 31 years ago. Dennis was employed as an Explosive Engineer with the Brown Drilling & Blasting Corporation and with BayState Drilling & Blasting for many years. He worked in the Maintenance Division for the Watertown Mall as well. He was a passionate Motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed camping, hiking but most of all loved traveling on his Harley with family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years to Diane (Arcuri) Lombardo, his devoted & loving sons Frank & Steve Lombardo both of Maynard, his dear sisters Brenda Hansen of Maynard and Delta Saulnier of Millis, and his godson Joshua Foster of Maynard. In addition he is survived by many nieces & nephews and his companion dog Max. Cherished father of the late Peter John Lombardo, brother of the late Bernadette, Frank & Wayne Lombardo Sr. and godfather of the late Wayne Lombardo Jr. Relatives & Friends were respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM on Tuesday morning May 7th at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Dennis Life at Saint Bridgets Church, 1 Percival St., Maynard at 11:00 a.m. Committal Ceremonies followed at Glenwood Cemetery in Maynard. Visiting Hours were held in the Funeral Home on Monday May 6th from 2|4 & 6|9 p.m.
