Daniel R. Byrne Obituary
Daniel R. Byrne, 29, a lifelong Maynard resid ent, died Fri. June 1, 2018. The beloved son of Gerry and Lori (Greenaway) Byrne of Maynard, he is also survived by his sister Kate Haskell and her husband Evan of Deer Isle, Maine, brother Jimmy Byrne and his wife Michelle of Maynard, and sister Holly Armann and husband Paul of Maynard; nieces and nephews Clyde and Stella Haskell, Christopher and Savannah Byrne, and Charleston Armann; a large extended family and many friends. Danny attended the Maynard Public Schools and graduated in 2006 from Maynard High School, where he loved playing football. He earned an associates degree from Middlesex Community College in 2011, and enjoyed his work at James Fenton & Son General Contracting. Danny loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, fishing, NASCAR racing, boating, vacationing in Maine and Florida, snowboarding, doing yardwork, taking care of animals, and fixing anything that was ever broken. He will be dearly missed. Visiting hours are Thurs. June 7th from 4:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 8th at 10:00am in St. Bridget's Church, 1 Percival St, Maynard, with burial following in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Great Rd (Rte 117) Maynard. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to benefit the Maynard High School Football uniform fundraising effort. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Tiger Football.
