Evelyn Dorothy Saari, 98, died on March 14, 2018 in Lake Worth, Florida. She was born in Maynard, Mass., a daughter of the late Oscar and Matilda Saari. Evelyn graduated from Maynard High School, class of 1937. Before retiring, Evelyn worked for many years as a legal secretary in Boston. She moved to Florida in 1971 and worked for a West Palm Beach law firm and as a Judicial Assistant in the Circuit Court of West Palm Beach. She was predeceased by her sister, Bertha Bentsen, and five brothers: Helge, Wilho, Albert, K. Rudolph, and A. Everett Saari. She is survived by her nephews Charles Saari of New Hampshire; Edward Saari of Puerto Rico; Roger Saari of Texas, and Walfred Saari of Colorado; and niece Barbara Sherburne of Maine. She is also survived by many grand nieces and grand nephews. A private burial service was held in June at the Glenwood Cemetery in Maynard, Mass.
