Elizabeth Donahue

Elizabeth Adella (Della) Donahue age 95 of Sarasota, FL died May 13, 2013. She was born in Oneida, New York, The eldest daughter of Donald and C Honora Frier. She and her husband, Joseph Donahue (deceased) moved to Sarasota from Walpole, Mass in October of 1986. She is survived by a sister Jane J. Bertrand of East Syracuse, New York. Also survived by three (3) children, 1 son John G. Donahue of Laguna Hills, California and wife Lynda Jo. Also two (2) daughters, Kathleen Rouzaut-Schnicker of Ashland, Mass and Maureen Bowers and husband Kenneth of Wolfboro, NH. The eldest son Michael J. Donahue died in August 2004, a Veteran of Vietnam. She is also survived by six (6) grandchildren, Tracy R Peterson, Joseph Rouzaut, Julie Harrington, Gregory Bowers, Sean Donahue, and Briana Donahue. Also five (5) great grand-sons, John and Stephen Rouzaut, Cole and Drew Peterson, and Dominick and Hayden Donahue. Two (2) great grand-daughters, Caitlyn Rouzaut and Paetyn Donahue. Della was an elementary teacher having taught in Medfield, Westwood, and Walpole, Mass for many years. A member of St Thomas More Church, she belonged to its Prayer Group, Visiting Samaritans and Bereavement groups. She was also active in the Wonder Club, Senior Friend (H-2-U) and St. Michaels Council of Catholic Women, as well as the Womens Club of St. Thomas More Church. Services will be held at St. Thomas More Church at 9:30AM Friday May 17, 2013. Burial of Cremains will be at St. Marys Garden at St. Thomas More Church following the memorial service.
