Loving father of Leonard Caruso & his wife Janet of N. Reading, Michelle Moretto & her husband Albert of Peabody. Cherished grandfather of Monique, Rene & Shannon & 5 great grandchildren. A successful career began in the late 1940s when he became well known for running the most popular dances on the No. Shore at the Palais Hall in Malden while working at General Electric. He worked for G.E. for 15 years, and simultaneously built single family homes, left G.E. at age 40. At that point he began building his first of 4 apartment buildings in Melrose. In the 1970s he became interested in a new concept of condominiums and built the first condos in the region in Malden. He then went on to develop Mansion Hill Estates in Wakefield. Next came No. Reading where he spent 20 years developing Swan Pond Estates, Elmwood Hill Village and Bridle Way. Also during this time he built Four Corners Shopping Center in Wakefield. He and his wife Laurette enjoyed working, managing and marketing these properties through the years.
