Kelly Rigoni Obituary
Kelly J. Rigoni, 37, died at 4 p.m., April 29, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born September 1, 1975, in Boston, MA to Carl J. (Deb) Coder of North Andover, MA. and Mary L. (Knight) Coder of Davenport, FL. who survive. On July 17, 1998, she married Jason A. Rigoni, who survives in Lima, OH. Kelly was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and dear friend to all. She graduated in 1994 from Masconomet High School, in Boxford, MA. Kelly graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelors degree in psychology in 1998. She then received her masters degree in Education from Edinboro University in 2001. She had worked for seven years as a teacher and taught math and science at public schools in El Paso, TX. She was an avid runner, having run track in college as both a junior and senior at Duquesne University. Kelly was attending Shawnee Community UMC. Kelly enjoyed traveling with her husband and her children. She was a soccer and basketball coach for her childrens teams. She was very proud of being soccer, basketball, football, dance and cheerleading mom. She truly loved her children and loved being with them in all the facets of their lives. Survivors include two sons, Dylan K. Rigoni, of Lima; Dominic A. Rigoni, of Lima; two daughters, Ariana C. Rigoni, Lima; Alyssa J. Rigoni, of Lima; a brother, Cory Coder of Chicago and numerous extended families. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Elizabeth Coder. Services will begin at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Shawnee Community United Methodist Church in Lima, OH. Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Shawnee Community United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Memorial Health System or the YMCA Foundation.
