Kenny, Bobby, Jimmy and family - I was driving in Newton recently and as I drove by some runners I thought of your father and how wherever you were in town there he was running by. And the pleasant greeting I got whenever I ran into him. What a nice guy and the world is a lesser place with his loss.

I just heard of Kenny's passing. I was
very taken because he and I shared much
time together. He was a very dear friend. I can't think of how much running we did together, at least six days a week--and, countless marathons and road races. We spent so much time together. I moved to Florida many years
ago, but my thoughts always drifted to those very special times we shared as friends. To Butch and Evelyn, my sincere and heartfelt condolences. I shall always carry such wonderful feelings for the laughs, stories, and
exhaustive conversations we had. A wonderful guy who will be sorely missed.
God bless.

I met Ken at the Watertown Mall in the '70s. We ran races and fun runs together many times, and I always waited for him to come by me in Brookline on his many marathons outings. He had a great personality.
I am sorry for your loss.

mr. billings was a gentleman and truly one of a kind in the best possible way...his sense of humor and his smile were both something special...his legacy will be the beautiful family that he and mrs. billings raised so well... i suppose our children are the best measure of our own import and impact upon the society in which we live.. that being said, the passing of ken billings is a profound loss.. love to the billings family, inky.
