Stanley Kreider

Stanley M. Kreider, resident of Dover & Yarmouthport Massachusetts died on Saturday, March 23, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he served as a naval aviator during World War II attached to the South Atlantic Fleet, continuing in the naval Reserve. He retired as a commanding officer of VP 911 NAS South Weymouth. He attended the Universities of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and flight school in Penscola, Florida receiving his Bachelors Degree at Temple University. Stanley retired from the Coca Cola Co in 1983 as manager for the Eastern United States area. He formed SRS Inc, a food sales service company serving as president. He was a former Rotarian, and Jr Achievement Participant. He held memberships in several food associations, The Woodland Golf Club, Hyannis Yacht Club, the Naval Institute, and Naval Academy Athletic Association. Stanley also belonged to the Dover American Legion Post 209. Surviving him are his beloved wife Irene Wider-Kreider, his son Scott Kreider and wife Eda of Norwood, five step-children: Timothy Wider, Barbara Kavoossi, Christopher Wider, Katherine Bento, and Jennifer DeLuca. He was also the husband of the late Charlotte A. Kreider. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 30 Centre St, Dover on Wednesday, March 27th at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to Mass. Interment with Military Honors at Highland Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fisher House Boston, P.O.
