Beatirce (Belis) Soltz at 95 years on Wednesday, October 15, 2013 at her home in Canton, formerly a long time resident of Newton and Boynton Beach, FL. She was a graduate of Girls Latin School in Boston and of Barnard College, class 1941 where she was active in the Wigs and Cues Drama Club. Beatrice was a founding member of Temple Shalom of West Newton where she served as president of its' Sisterhood and she was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a past president of the Boston Chapter. For Beatrice, family always came first. She shared a long and wonderful life with her beloved late husband, Joseph. She is survived by her children Judith Soltz & her husband Richard Belas of Bryn Mawr, PA, Mark Soltz & his wife Carol of New York City, NY and Jaclin Cohen & her husband Barry of Newton. She was the cherished grandmother of Benjamin Soltz, Jessica Cohen, and Daniel Cohen and dear sister of the late Shirley Casper. Services at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton, on Friday, October 18 at 12:Noon.Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance following the burial at the home of Jaclin & Barry Cohen until Sundown.
