June Ann (Lindley Davenport) Daily, died in peaceful sleep the morning of Wednesday, November 20th, reminiscing of fond memories in her home, she was 86. Born in Cape Girardeau, MO, June was the daughter of Jesse Mae and Charles Lindley and moved to MA from FL in 2005. June was the beloved widow of the late Scott Daily of Fort Myers, FL and Henry Davenport of Flossmoor, IL; devoted mother of Mahala Davenport of Auburndale, MA and Frieda Anderson and her husband Brett of Elgin, IL; adored grandmother of Gretchen (Hays) Brown and her husband Tim of Gaithersburg, MD, Zachary Anderson and his wife Amelia of Sarasota, FL, Lars Anderson and his wife Megan of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Erik Anderson of Elgin, IL and Jacob Horwitz of Auburndale, MA. June is also survived by three great-grandchildren Micah, Brady, and Henry, her older brother Edward Lindley. In lieu of funeral services, the immediate family will have a private memorial gathering at their home and her ashes will be scattered in the Spring in Alpine, MI at her first late husband Henry Davenports family plot in the Alpine Cemetery. To honor June, the family has requested donations in her memory be directed to the United Parish of Auburndale, 64 Hancock Street, Auburndale, MA 02466, 617-964-8516. June was blessed to live a full life, traveling around the world and cherishing her grand- and great grand-children. She is best remembered as kind, gentle and loving and known for her love of Bridge and creating floral arrangements. Her sophisticated style and charming smile will be missed by her family and friends.
