Obituary Condolences

Mark J. Landry, II, of Plymouth, formerly of Auburndale, passed peacefully on Nov. 29, 2013 at BIDMC after a long battle with complications following a bone marrow transplant. He was 66 years old. Mark retired from Weymouth Vocational Technical High School as a Graphics Arts Teacher and evening Principal, Adult Education Program. As a former Marine during the Vietnam era, Mark was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and an active member of the American League Post 440 of Newton. A jack of all trades, he enjoyed carpentry, gardening, traveling, reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Mark never met a stranger. Mark was the Beloved Husband of Marie E. (Mazzola) Landry formerly of Nonantum, Devoted Father of Hannele Rohlfs and her husband Darrell of NY, Stacy Annese and her fianc Walter of FL, Bridget Brown and her husband Larry of FL, Nicole Annese of Newton, Robert Landry and his fianc Jessica of Waltham, Andria Maynard and her husband Chad of Marlborough. He was the Adoring Grandfather of Bailey, Sean, Samantha, Bryan, Emily, Jonathan, Angelo, Lia, Logan and Chad and Dear Brother of Sheila Love of Holliston and the late Margaret Farrell. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Wed. Dec. 4 from 4-8pm in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton and again on Thurs. morning at 9:30am before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
