John E. Houlihan, 54, of Norton, formerly of Attleboro and Braintree, passed away at his home, Aug. 11, 2012. Beloved husband of Fumie (Takaesu). Loving son of John and Doris (Wolf) Houlihan of Plymouth. Devoted father of Jayson of Norton, Jennifer LaHaie of NY, Cheryl and Nina Houlihan, both of CA. Brother of Donna Mitchel of Brockton, David of Attleboro and Janet Taylor of Easton. Grandfather of Kyle and Kora Houlihan of Norton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was born in Weymouth, raised in Braintree and had lived in Norton for the past 20 years. John was a Marine Corps veteran and was the owner of Baseball Card Collectors Sports Memorabilia for over 30 years. Funeral was held from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St., (Rte. 37), Braintree, Thursday, Aug. 16 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree Highlands, at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
