Deborah J. Marchetti

Deborah J. (Haydon) Marchetti, 63 of Norwell, passed away on Jan. 13, 2014. Born in Weymouth on April 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Trevor and Eleanor (Cuthbert) Haydon. Raised and educated in Hanover and Hingham, Deborah attended North Adams State College. She was later employed as a first grade teacher for Hanover public schools for many years. She also taught at Magic Dragon Children Center where she retired as the director. Most recently she was employed by the Wool Basket Yarn Shop in Duxbury. Deborah loved knitting, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Deborah was the beloved wife of Stephen Marchetti. Loving mother of Eric S. Marchetti and his wife Amy of Bridgewater, Andrew S. Marchetti of Somerville, and Ellen B. Orlando and her husband Robert of Middleboro. Dear sister of Trevor Haydon and his wife Meg of Sudbury. Cherished Nana of Juliana, Anthony, Isabella, and Natalie. Deborah also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visitation was in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53 in Hanover, on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 4 - 8 p.m. . Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St. Rte. 53, in Norwell on Friday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. Interment in Washington St. Cemetery.
