Frances C. (Wakeman) Reven, age 102, of Norwell died peacefully at the Royal Norwell Nursing Center Jan. 2, 2014. Mrs. Reven was the beloved wife of the late Elwood Reven; and the loving mother of Judith A. Cowden and Vicki L. Reven, both of Norwell. She was the sister of the late William Wakeman of Woodbury, N.J. Mrs. Reven was the grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Born in Woodbury, N.J., Mrs. Reven lived an active and full life right to the end, playing bingo with her friends, even penning a poem at 93. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, in the Church Hill Methodist Church, 11 Church St. (off of River St.), Norwell.
