Nancy (Nolan) Waterman, longtime Norwell resident died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 6. She is survived by her son, Eric, his wife Kimberly, and their son Matthew; her son William, his wife Andrea, and their children Alek, Alaina, Sara, and Addison; her nephew Stephen and his wife Maryann; and her nephew Michael. She also leaves behind many close friends. Nancy attended Norwell High School and Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy. She studied biology and worked in pulmonary medicine. After raising her family, she worked in her fathers fishing tackle business; then later at Hallmark Cards, at Kitchen Etc., and as a greeting card and book distributor. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts, and vacations with family and friends. She was a fun-loving and generous person and was a member of the local Red Hat Society. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and she enjoyed spending time with them. Visiting hours were held at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. Funeral was held at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m., followed by burial in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell. For online guest book, Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home 781-545-0196
