Robert G. Brennan, 85, of Bryantville passed away at home Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013. The son of the late Joseph and Christine (Dineen) Brennan Sr., he was born in Boston, July 17, 1928. He was a graduate of Boston Latin High School, Holy Cross and Boston University. Robert proudly served in the Navy during World War II and was later employed as an engineer at AT&T, formerly New England Telephone. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus in Reading and the Alumni Associations at Holy Cross and Boston University. His is survived by his wife Dorothy (Banzer) Brennan; 1 son, Gary P. Brennan of Walpole; and 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah. He was the brother of the late Joseph Brennan Jr., Alton Brennan, Norman Brennan, Norma Colanton and Joan Siebolt. Visiting hours were held in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte. 14 and 58 in Hanson, Sunday, Dec. 15, from 3-7 p.m. A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte. 14, in Hanson.
