Patricia E. Scanlon

Patricia E. (Souza) Scanlon, 70, of Kingston, passed peacefully, comforted by family and friends on July 30, 2014. Pat was the beloved wife of 49 years and best friend of 55 years of Richard Scanlon. Loving mother of Andrew Scanlon and his wife Tina of Kingston and Mary Scanlon Smith of Plymouth. Devoted grandmother of AJ Smith, Callie Scanlon, and Thomas Scanlon. Sister-in-law of Ann Norman and Susan Ireland. Pat was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Marques) Souza and she was the sister of the late Sally Harlow. She was loved by several nieces, a nephew, many cousins and countless friends. Pat was proud of her Portuguese heritage and her upbringing in North Plymouth. She loved her family, friends, church, and community. She was known for her great smile and her eagerness to help others. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, on Thursday, Aug. 7, at 9 a.m. , followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, Kingston, at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Kingston.
