Guarnotta, John A. - Plymouth  
John A. Guarnotta of Plymouth formerly of Dorchester, died on April 21st in his home surrounded by his family. He is the beloved husband of Margaret A. (Wyndham) Guarnotta and the loving father of Linda Guarnotta and her wife Sheila Sinclair of Plymouth, Anthony M. Guarnotta of Carver, Michael Guarnotta of Plymouth and Natalie Yergeau and her husband Joel of Holbrook. Brother of Mary Hurley of Arlington and the late Biagio Guarnotta. Cherished grandfather of Amelie, Benjamin and Henry Yergeau. Born in Boston on October 23, 1931, a son of the late Antonino and Anna (Sciuto) Guarnotta, he was educated in South Boston and later entered the US Navy serving during the Korean War. John was a Carpenter by trade and was also a Meteorologist when he was serving in the Navy. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, boating, history and opera. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Funeral from the Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. North Plymouth on Wednesday April 27th at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Kateri Tekawitha Church West Plymouth at 10:00 am. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
