Bernard M. Reed

PLYMOUTH Bernard M. Reed, of Plymouth, formerly of Kingston, died March 30, at Jordan Hospital, at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Pavesi) of Plymouth; his daughter, Shelley Smith and her husband Richard of Plymouth; and cherished grandson, Ian Smith. He also leaves his brother, John Reed of Cumberland, R.I. He was the brother of the late Robert, William and Richard. Bernard was born in Wareham and attended the Campbell Business School. He was a claims adjudicator for the Department of Employment Security. Bernard served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Marys Church in Plymouth, Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m., leaving from the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth, at 10 a.m., followed by burial at St. Josephs Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Marys Church, 327 Court St., Plymouth, MA 02360.
