Joseph M. Capone(1950 - 2013)

Joseph M. Capone, age 63, died at home peacefully Sept. 26, after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the devoted husband of 40 years to Patricia A. (Murray) Capone. Born in Boston, July 29, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph Capone Jr. and Eva A. (Scafati) Capone. He received a bachelors degree at Boston College and a masters degree at Bridgewater State. He was employed for 33 years by the Lakeville Freetown Regional School District where he taught Science. Besides leaving his beloved wife Pat, he leaves his mother, Eva A. Capone of Plymouth; his sister, Sandra Ruosso, and brother-in-law, Neil Ruosso of Tenafly, N.J.; three nieces, Olivia Ruossa, Cheryl Fedak and Laurie Stewart; and one nephew, Matthew Ruosso; and beloved dogs, Abby, Emma, and Lily. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 12-2 p.m. in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to please make a memorial donation to Jordan Hospital Oncology Dept., 275 Sandwich St., Plymouth, MA 02360, or Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
