Janewite LeBlanc, 72, of Plymouth passed away October 13, 2015. She was raised in Plymouth, the only child of Francis and Clementine (Ortolani) O'Neill. She was educated in the Plymouth public schools and later went on to receive her BA from Bridgewater State College. Janewite was employed by Sacred Heart Schools, Kingston, where she loved teaching until her retirement. She then spent many days playing cards, Mexican Train and going to the movies and dinners out with family and close friends. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert, of fifty years; as well as her constant companion, her dog Mira; her daughter, Lisa and her husband Brian Webb, their sons, Christopher and Patrick; her son, Francis LeBlanc, his daughters, Madeleine, Claire and Jane, and their mother Jennifer. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, Tuesday, October 20, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private. Aunty Jane, as I knew her, was always a warm smile, a great laugh, and I soo enjoyed visiting. Always a great time playing with Cousins Lisa and Frank, and Uncle giving the ride on the motorcycle, sending love and prayers to you all!!!

Janie was so much a part of my growing-up life in Plymouth, always a concerned and caring friend. Pajama parties, cruising North Plymouth, gossip fests - we've kept in touch over the years and coming home to Plymouth will not be the same without her. Her passing leaves a hole in my heart.

I knew Mrs. LeBlanc from when I attended Sacred Heart. Her love of teaching was just as strong as her love for her students, her faith, and her family. My deepest sympathies to you. Mrs. LeBlanc was a wonderful teacher and caring person. In addition to teaching us the subject material she always taught us kindness. Mrs. LeBlanc taught me English at Sacred Heart in the late 80's. She had the reputation of being a wonderful teacher and everyone loved her. I still remember her sitting at the back of the class as I gave an oral report and she had previously coached me on saying "um" and "like" too much so she told me each time Inused those words she would raise her hand so I was aware of the frequency of my mistakes. I still think of her each time I speak in public! She will live on in the hundreds of students she touched! Karen Last '92
