Stanford Bowers Obituary

Stanford L. Bowers, Jr., age 74 of Carver, passed away April 26, 2018 at the Life Care Center in Plymouth. He was the beloved husband of Candice (Bates) Bowers of Carver. The loving father of Stanford Bowers III of Peabody, Kenneth Bowers of Raynham, Michael Bowers of Kingston, Geoffrey Joseph Dickson of So. Weymouth and Jennifer Hicks of Marston Mills. He was the brother of Gary Bowers of Texas and the late Gail Connell. He also, leaves eight grandchildren. Stanford was born in Plymouth, MA on October 11, 1943 to Stanford and Elsie (Ottani) Bowers. He graduated from Plymouth High School and went on to attend Aero Tech School. Upon completion of his technical training he voluntarily enlisted in the United States Navy. He was an automotive mechanic and enjoyed collecting and refinishing antique cars. A private burial will take place at a later date.
