Anthony "Tony" Wayne Perry, 65, lost his battle with pulmonary fibrosis March 14, 2013. He was born in Plymouth, Mass., the son of the late Manuel Perry and Caroline Verdelli Perry. Anthony moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, after retiring from the Plymouth police department. He was a veteran that served his country. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, played on many dart teams, played in many pool tournaments and enjoyed playing golf with his brother police officers. He was the loving husband of Irene Perry; loving father of Anthony Perry Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev., and Michelle Perry Belcher and her husband Vernon Belcher of Wareham, Mass.; loving grandfather of Brittney Pollard of New Bedford, Mass., Kelsey Belcher and Chase Belcher of Wareham, Mass., Anthony Perry III of Florida. He leaves his sisters, Lee Ann Brock of Kingston, Mass., and Robynn Sampson of Massachusetts; and a brother, Frank Perry of Arlington, Texas. He also leaves aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass., March 28, at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of his life will follow at the Moose Lodge, 601 State Road, in Manomet, Mass.
