Charlotte Anna (Raymond) Cavicchi , was born in Plymouth on April 11, 1922, she grew up in Manomet section of Plymouth. She died on Nov. 8th, 2013 Daughter of the late Abbott A. Raymond, Jr. and Elsie M. (Pero) Raymond, the family operated a restaurant and cabins at the once popular Raymonds Corner along the shore of Fresh Pond. After graduating high school with the class of 1939, Charlotte attended Banford Academy and owned and operated Charlottes Beauty Salon in Plymouth. Married to the late John Ottino Cavicchi in 1 950, they made their home in Plymouth, where she lived until her death. Charlotte leaves behind one brother, Robert N. Raymond of Boston. She has two sons, Dr. Jon R. Cavicchi, Esq. of Penacook, NH, Richard A Cavicchi of Plymouth and his wife, Maureen (Ryan) Cavicchi. She is also survived by two Grandsons, Richard A Cavicchi, Jr. of Plymouth, and John R Cavicchi of Plymouth; one granddaughter, Angelina (Cavicchi) Lindsay of Marshfield, wife of Jason B. Lindsay; and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Aubrey Lindsay. Charlotte lived a full and active life. She belonged to the Catholic Womens League, was a past president of the Plymouth Womens Club, and operated numerous bus trips as Plymouth Senior Tours. She enjoyed being with people and loved to perform her signature songs at parties and family gatherings. She had a beautiful singing voice. Charlotte touched the lives of many and her high spirit and zest for life will be missed. Charlotte succumbed to a long illness and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 8, 2013. Private services will be held.
