Mr./Rev. Manuel called the CoCom, Madill in the early Spring of 2004. He told me there will be a great Revival here. I still believe, for souls. . I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ . .

The book, "The Light and the Glory," has made such a difference in my life. I bought an extra copy to loan out, and have shared it with several others. So thankful for all I learned from this book.

Three of my favorite books, The Light and the Glory, From Sea to Shining Sea and Sounding Forth the Trumpet. What a profound impact and encouragement they have been to me. I am sharing them with my church this Sunday and just wanted to say thank you.

My name if fr. svetozar kraljevic, from Medugorje,BiH. If I am to count five friends in my life then one of these five would be Mr. David Manuel. He has been a friend that only God can give. In time of war here in in Bosnia and Hercegovina he was larger than life. His love for the people and his willingness to go extra mile for those in need were for me true testimony for love of God. My deep admiration for David. I miss him and God will do for him what I was not able to. He is my hero!!! David, often I think of you. [email protected]

I first met David when he and Alex Canavan and Basil Yarde got the Boston Noon Hour going at Tremont Temple in Boston, around 2005 or 2006. Wouldn't you know, he was the same David Manuel that coauthored a trilogy of books with Peter Marshall. Well Alex and David were mentors to me. I wish they were still here, but God has His timing. David used to pick Alex up in Pembroke and they would drive in to Boston for the Noon Hour. Alex once told me that David thought he was a skilled driver, but Alex thought differently. So maybe they are together discussing the driving skills of the other. It was a pleasure to know them both even if the time seemed short. It doesn't matter though because I'll see them both again. In Christ, RMT.

Many years ago I attended a writer's conference with David and Jamie Buckingham. He was so encouraging to all of us, but personally, it was a life-changing experience. I am so sorry for your loss...I was actually trying to find him to discuss a writing project when I found the obituary. The world has lost a wonderful man, but heaven has gained!

Shelli, I always thought I'd see him again. Have been thinking of David lately. He had a positive influence on me like few others, and I feel so privileged to have laughed, cried, prayed, dined with him...and to have learned so much from him. I wish it were different for you, Shelli. What a blessing to know, though, that he is watching rainbows from a very different angle.

Dear Shelli, I will never forget David's ministry at Diamond City UMC and at other churches in Harrison Arkansas area. His courageous courage in following Christ, his call for radical loving discipleship. David greatly impacted my life.

Dearest Shelli,

I remember you telling me how David swept you off your feet. You were sitting with your wedding book on your lap, with the facial expression of joy only a new bride can have. Just know, David will be asking you to dance once again. Imagine the smile on our Lords face as this happens. Mom and I will be there, to celebrate this with you.

Let's sing...

When we a-ll get to hea-ven,
What a day of re-joyc-ing that will be...
When we a-ll see Je-sus,
We'll sing and shout the Vic-tor-y
(the Vic-tor-y)

Amen?
A-men!

Shelli,
Sorry to hear of David's passing. We are sure he is at rest in the arms of his beloved Jesus. It was a privilege to have known such a brilliant and gifted man. Rest in peace David.

Dear Uncle David, you are such a large part of my own life history, you have been one of my biggest life influences, I wish I could of said "good by". I know we will see each other in heaven, but you have left behind a broken niece. I know you well enough that everything is very complicated, but we had a very happy time together on a beautiful sunny day in late May in Boston, and all though you looked sicker than I had ever seen you, I only wish I had known you were dying.... I know that neither you or Grindaddy ever wanted to talk about health issues. So you were true to yourself. I thank God for our time. Heaven seems a long time away.

It was a priviledge to work with David. He was very appreciative of others kindness, had alot of wisdom and of course was a great story teller. I only wish I could have known him in his younger years. I rejoice that he is out of pain and any trials; and instead he is rejoicing and dancing with His Savior, Jesus. Isaiah 57:1-2 states, "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. Congradulations on finding that peace and rest. I know he is missed by those of us left here on this earth, but I am thankful to see him again one day in heaven.
