Dolores A. Sheridan, peacefully passed away at home on November 12, 2013. She was born in Syracuse NY and lived in Plymouth MA since 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Christine (Amrose) and by her husband, Donald Francis Sheridan. Dolores was a graduate of Fisher Junior College and worked many years in banking and retail. Dee was a caring and admired homemaker who had many self-taught talents, including writing, painting, decorating, cooking and needlepoint. However, what she treasured most was her family, and she will be forever remembered and cherished as Mom, Gram, and Mimi. She is survived by her children: Donna Powers (Thomas) of Plymouth MA, Donald, Jr. of Wellesley MA, Diane of Brighton MA and David (Laura) of Manlius NY. Her grandchildren: Amy Brother (William) of Arlington MA and Todd Powers (Christine) of Brooklyn NY. Her great-grandchildren: Ashley, Ryan and Oscar. Her sisters: Dorothy Hardiman of Portland OR, Carolyn Amorosa of Jacksonville FL and Alice Firley of Fayetteville NY as well as several generations of extended family members. There will be a graveside service at St. James Cemetery in Cazenovia, NY on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
