Edward F. Raeke III, age 77 years, died peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home in Plymouth. He was the husband of Evelyn (Sinclair) Raeke, and the son of the late Edward and Kathleen (Quinn) Raeke Jr. Born and raised in Boston, Ed was a graduate of Boston College High School, class of 1958, and Boston College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He worked as a systems analyst for hospital billing systems and government inventory systems. He worked in many places including California, Maryland, Saudi Arabia, Tennessee before moving to Plymouth, Massachusetts where he and Evelyn have made their home for their family. He was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed cooking for his family, traveling, photography, and listening to his favorite music of Frank Sinatra. Most important to Ed was the time he spent with his family. He was proud to be affectionately known as "Pa"o his loving grandchildren, and enjoyed going to all of their sporting events. Besides his loving wife velyn, he is survived by his children, Theresa Hussey and her husband John of Goshen, Indiana, Edward Raeke and his wife Tina of Plymouth and Marie Swingle and her husband Gary of Deltona, Florida, his siblings Daniel Raeke and his wife Priscilla of Plymouth, sister-in-law Cathie Raeke of Marlborough, Rev. Joseph Raeke of the Plymouth-Carver Catholic Collaborative, Kevin Raeke and his wife Marianne of Sutton, Jack Raeke and his wife Ellie of Stoughton and Dottie Shea and her husband Vin of Canton. He also leaves his grandchildren, Patrick "PJ", Joseph "Mac" Edward V, Joshua, Kayla, Shannon, Emma, Cassie, Mae, Colin and Clair, and a great-grandchild Eloise "Ella". He was the brother of the late Charles Raeke, Kathryn MacNeil and Thomas Raeke. His funeral will be held from the Davis Fuuneral Home, 373 Court Street, North Plymouth (at Cordage Park) on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Peters Church, Plymouth at 10:30 a.m..Visiting hours on Friday. Nov. 8, from 4 - 7 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Lung of the North East, 1661 Worcester Rd., # 301, Framingham, MA 01701. So very sorry to hear about Ed, we worked together at General Dynamics, Ed was the one I called every time I needed to do the monthly Billing. He would always walk me through it never complaining, laughing at the questions I would ask. We would all go out to Lunch together even after we retired. He always talk about his Grand Children, he was really a family Man. My Condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of cousin Eddie's passing. I was away last week and unable to attend the service. He was always such a fun guy and I will always remember him with a huge smile on his face. God bless him and all of his family.
