Kenneth R. Hawes, a longtime Plymouth resident, died suddenly following a car accident in Worcester on Friday, June 14, 2013. He was 50 years old. Born in Medford and raised in Billerica, Ken moved to Wilmington in 1987 and had been a resident of Plymouth since 1999. A 1981 graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, Ken was the Director of Training and Recruitment for Honey Farms, a convenience store chain headquartered in Worcester. An avid motorcyclist, Ken was a member of the Manomet Mystery Riders Motorcycle Club. He was a devoted family man and Christian, he dearly loved camping and spending time with family and friends. Beloved husband and best friend of Tammy (Bishop). Proud and loving Daddy of Joshua, Melanie and Bonny, all of Plymouth. Brother of Don and his wife Pat of NH, Paul and his wife Cindy of SC, Daniel and his wife Diane of Billerica and Mark of NH. Brother-in-law of Bonny and Doug Smith, Ronnie and Jocelyn Bishop, Bruce and Christie Bishop, and the rest of the Bishop clan. Beloved uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services in the Plymouth United Methodist Church, 29 Carver Road, Plymouth on Thursday at 11 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours in the church on Wednesday from 3-8 pm.
