Mary (Souza) Ferrari, age 96, died Nov. 13, 2013, at Bay Path in Duxbury. Formerly of Plymouth, Mary was born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late John and Clara (Fernandes) Souza. She was educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. Mary moved to Plymouth over 60 years ago previously residing in Boston. She enjoyed working on arts and crafts, cooking and playing bingo. She also was a member of the Bay Path Corus, the Red Hat Society and was a championship bowler, holding the title for many years. Mary was the loving mother of Mary Lou Jenness of West Bridgewater, Patricia Sampson of Plymouth, and the late Joanne Gundburg, John J. Ferrari and Robert A. Ferrari. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and was predeceased by her grandson, Donald Jenness. Visitation will take place Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
