Maureen Ann Pinto, age 48, of Carver died unexpectedly at her home Nov. 17, 2012. She was the beloved daughter of Monica Pearl (Malaguti) Pinto and the late Joseph Anthony Pinto. Born in Plymouth Sept. 1, 1964, she was educated in the Plymouth school system and was a 1982 graduate of Plymouth Carver High School. She then went on to receive her certification in esthetics as a nail technician after attending hairdressing school in Boston. For many years, Maureen worked as a photo technician, working at Sprint Photo in Plymouth. She most recently worked in the Carver School system as a teachers aide. Maureen loved spending time visiting the ocean and walking the beach. She held a special interest in dolphins and loved photography, bike riding and most importantly spending every possible minute with her children, who were the nucleus of her being. Her kind smile and gentle manner will be missed by all of those lives she touched. Besides leaving her mother Monica, Maureen leaves her two sons, Justin and Ryan Pierce, both of Carver; her sister, Catherine Cardon and her husband Kim of Carver; her brothers, Joseph of Boca Raton, Fla., Kevin Pinto of Plymouth and the late Barry Pinto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from the Cartmell Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Marys Church in North Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Cremation will take place in Vine Hills Crematory, Plymouth.
