Thomas E. Jerrier, age 82, died on April 17, 2012 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of 55 years to Lorraine E. (Hutchins) Jerrier. Born in Boston, MA on January 24, 1930, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Agnes (McLaughlin) Jerrier. He was educated in Dorchester, a graduate of William E. Russell School as well as Coyn Electrical School. He had moved to Plymouth 32 years ago, previously residing in Somerville. He had worked for most of his life as a general contractor, working for American Electro Plating, Nabisco Co. and Cri-Tech in Hanover, MA. He entered the US Navy following his high school graduation, where for eight years he proudly served his country at the end of WWII and during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing as a favorite past time. Mr. Jerrier is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine, and was the loving father of Lawrence C. Jerrier of Plymouth, Robert E. Jerrier of Lyman, ME, Agnes Geary of Taunton, and Charlotte Webster of St. Petersburg, Fl., He was the cherished grandfather of Christen, Derick, Melissa, Jessica, Joshua, Shannon and Bobby. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place on Monday morning at 9:15 from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peters Church , Plymouth at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
