Obituary Condolences

Captain William J. Lindros, of Carver formerly of Plymouth and Rochester died on February 18th. He is the beloved husband of Jeanette (Eddy) Lindros. Loving father of Gayle S. David of Plymouth, Nancy E. Watson of Plymouth, Patricia J. Kruskall of Bridgewater and Ruth J. Paton of KY. And the late Eric W. Lindros. Brother of Thomas Lindros and the late Matthew Jokinen and David Lindros. Cherished grandfather of John, Christopher, Eric, James, Katie, Jennifer, Amy, Michael, James and Sarah. Great grandfather of 5. Born in Brooklyn, New York July 9, 1925 a son of the late William A. and Fanny E. (Jokinen ) Lindros. A graduate of Plymouth High School class of 1943. He served with the Merchant Marines during WWII. Captain Bill was a Master Mariner and worked for Marine Transport Lines in New York and later owned and operated a Party boat out of Plymouth Harbor, a member of the Hilltop A.A. Club in Kingston. Memorial Service on Monday at 3:00 pm in the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth. Visiting hour from 2:00- 3:00 pm prior to service. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
