James W. Agneta, 82, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011. He was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Cambridge, Mass., to Dominic and Catherine Tevnan Agneta. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He worked for T.O. Metcalf Printing Company in Boston for over 40 years as company director and supervisor. James is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Peggy Agneta; three daughters, Janet Bentley of Tierra Verde, Lynne Burke of Carver, Mass., and Judith Sciandra of Holly Springs, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Sherri Button of Bellefonte, Pa., and Beth Sanchez of Pittsburg; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Bildzok Agneta, son, James Agneta Jr., and daughter, Lee Ann Agneta Pitty. Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, Mass., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 9:15 from the Cartmell Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Peters Church, 84 Court St., Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Mass.
