Obituary Condolences

Louis G. Hanelt, age 68, of Plymouth, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of Kathleen (Coyne) Hanelt. Louis was the loving father of Lou Hanelt and his wife Dale of Plymouth, Michael Hanelt and his wife Lisa of Milford, Conn., and Melissa Hanelt of Kingston. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Justin, Drew, Stephanie, Nicole, and Brittany; and his siblings, Nancy Borgatti of Plymouth, Stanley Hanelt of Bristol, Conn., and Jeffrey Hanelt of Scituate. Born May 8, 1944, in Plymouth, son of the late George S. Hanelt and Delores Cannucci Dean. Louis was educated in the Plymouth School System and later went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a computer technician for US Assemblies and Telco. Louis was a member of the American Legion Post 40 in Plymouth and was an avid computer enthusiast. A visitation was held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
