Fay Voci

Fay Nicky Pacheco Voci, 43, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous and brave battle with cancer. She was the loving daughter of the late Lesa E. Joyce and Robert Pacheco and his wife Robyn of Raynham. Nicky grew up in Raynham and was a graduate of BR High School, Class of 1988 and she proudly earned her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education at Bridgewater State University. Nicky worked for many years at Triumph Head Start in Taunton. She worked there for over 15 years and most recently was the Education Manager. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Nicky was an accomplished barrel racer In her younger years. She returned to the sport just recently despite her illness and won several blue ribbons and trophies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, having game nights, holiday gatherings, gardening, taking weekend trips to GiGis house down the cape with her husband, spending time with children, and spending time with Lacy her horse, whether it was riding, or cleaning the stall, or just brushing her down, she would enjoy these moments for hours on end. The most cherished times though where spent with her husband at the home that they built together in Raynham. Nicky was the loving wife of 12 years to Richard R. Voci Jr. of Raynham and loving mother of Lance Corporal Joshua P. Pacheco of Raynham, loving sister of Cheyenne Pacheco of Raynham and step mother of Bryan Voci and his wife Katie of Plymouth, Andrew Voci and his fianc Erin of Plymouth, and Staff Sergeant Nicholas Voci of TN. Loving step-grandmother of Kelsie, Taylor, Rylee and niece of Barbara Joyce of Nantucket and Betty Lou Faulkner of Fla. and will be sadly missed by dearest friends Carol Cuddy of Bridgewater and Colleen Richards of East Bridgewater. Also survived by many loving relatives, friends, and co workers. Funeral was from the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater on Thursday, June 6 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Johns Church, East Bridgewater at 9 a.m. Burial will be private.
