Mary K. Tazz Gallo-Kirouac, 47, of Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. She was the wife of Christopher S. Kirouac. Born July 5, 1966 in Stoughton, she was the daughter of Benemino R. Gallo of Bridgewater and the late Mary Katherine (McFarland) Gallo. Raised in Bridgewater, she graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham High School in 1984. Mary had worked at Garrity Lumber Company in Hopedale prior to working with her husband in their family business, C and M Estimating. Mary had coached cheerleading in Winslow, Maine and she adored making jewelry. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was very active in child advocacy programs. Mary went above and beyond to help anyone she encountered who was in need. She is survived by her husband, Christopher S. Kirouac of Bridgewater; her daughters, Shannon C. Smith and Angelina M. Kirouac both of Bridgewater; her father, Benemino R. Gallo of Bridgewater; her sisters, Patricia A. Bernier of East Bridgewater and Kathleen M. Bumpus and her husband Timothy of Raynham; she is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary will be missed greatly by her daughters, husband and other family and friends. Funeral was from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rte. 123), Brockton on Monday, March 10, at 8:30 a.m. thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
