Bonnie Lester Obituary

Bonnie A. Lester, 61, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, May 19, 2012, at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vt. She was born Sept. 7, 1950, in Kenosha, Wis., the daughter of Richard J. and Jeanette (Baum) Robsel. She attended and graduated parochial schools in Kenosha, Wis., and later graduated from the School of Fashion Design in Boston. She was married to Robert E. Lester on July 28, 1973, in Somerville, Mass. Bonnie and Robert lived in Raynham, Mass., for many years, moving to Springfield, Vt., in 2010. Bonnie was a crafter and designer working from her home. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid quilter. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Springfield, Vt.; her mother, Jeanette Robsel; one brother, Charles Robsel; and one sister, Gail Nickl, all of Kenosha, Wis. A funeral service was held May 25, at 11 a.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. Burial in the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, Vt. Contributions may be made in her memory to the National Parkinsons Foundation, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt.

I so enjoyed my Saturdays at Bakers with Bonnie. She brought enthusiasm,creativity and soft humor to our group. There will always be an sad place in my heart missing her. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends
