Marjorie Bryant, 91, of Rockland, died on April 28, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Plymouth. She was born in Somerville, daughter of the late Marie (Witze), and George Goodwin, and was raised and educated in Weymouth. Marjorie was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Rockland where she previously served as the Church Historian, and as a member of the choir. She was an officer of the Spring Lake Cemetery Association, and a long time member of the Rockland Republican Town Committee. Marjorie enjoyed embroidery, cake decorating, and camping with her family. Mrs. Bryant was the wife of the late Calvin F. Bryant. She is survived by two sons, Richard C. Bryant of Marshfield, and Clifford G. Bryant of Gloucester as well as her sister Doris Ewart of Marshfield, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Bryant family welcomed friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the First Congregational Church. Burial Spring Lake Cemetery in Rockland.
