Leo McSheffrey Obituary

Leo G. McSheffrey of Abington passed away Aug. 24, 2013. He was 74. Beloved husband of Beatrice M. (DiBona) McSheffrey, he was the father of David McSheffrey and his wife Diane of Whitman, Bryan McSheffrey and his wife Lee-Ann of Bridgewater, Linda Weldon and her husband John of Walpole, Joseph McSheffrey and his wife Maggie of Abington, and Leigh Williams and her husband Dennis of Pawtucket, R.I.; brother of the late Dawn Griffin. Also survived by 18 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Leo was born in Boston the son of George and Sylvia McSheffrey. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy serving for 21 years. He was known to many as Mac or the Irish Rover." He was a loving father and grandfather, and he will be missed.
