Beverley M. Gentile Obituary
Beverley M. (Moore) Gentile of Scituate, passed away peacefully Friday, March 22, 2013, at the age of 83. She was the devoted wife of 65 years to Anthony Gentile. Born in Terre Haute, Ind., she was the daughter of the late L. Warren and Margaret Moore. Beverleys greatest joy was her family. After raising her children, Beverley continued her education at Southern Conn. State University with a degree in art history. She was a lover of the opera and symphony, enjoyed reading and was an extensive traveler. She was the loving mother of four children, Mary Murphy and her late husband Jack of Trumbull, Conn., Ruth Powers and her husband Richard of Barrington, R.I., Ellen Savage and her husband Michael of Cohasset, Anthony Gentile Jr. and his wife Barbara of Scituate. Also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Visiting hours were held Sunday, March 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. A funeral Mass of Christian burial was held March 25, at 10 in St. Anthonys Church, Cohasset Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
